God's Presence
I remember traveling with my Grandpa when he would have us on the weekends. He was one funny character. Remind me to tell you the great memory I have of him when he took us to the KFC drive-thru. It sort of has an anti-climatic ending, but it's pretty good. He was always pulling crazy stunts.
One of the things I remember about him is he never wore a seat belt... except when he saw a cop. He then quickly pulled it over his shoulder and pretended to wear it by holding it down. When the cop passed. he would let it slide back off.
It is amazing what the presence of a cop will do to make us behave differently on the road. If a cop can do that to our driving, how much better the presence of God to our entire life? I always notice a behavioral change when I get into the presence of god. When I lose that presence, unfortunately I notice the same thing... for the worse. The presence of the Holy Spirit of God in our life will make all the difference to us, and the world around us. Are you doing everything you can to remain in his presence?

Speed the Light Golf Tournmanet!
This will be a great day of golf, entertainment, prizes fellowship food, and most all, raising funds for STL! I encourage you to your registration in early so we may accommodate requested tee times. If you have any questions or need further information, please call Pastor Brian at 918-341-0771.
Tee Times begin at 12:00 p.m. Tournament fees are $50 per person which includes lunch and a beverage.
